Déjà Vu

I just looked all over the internet for evidence of someone having deja vu and I did not find what I was looking for.

Search terms I used:
  • 'Im having deja vu'
  • 'deja vu captured on film'
  • 'I just had deja vu'

Here is my theory on Deja Vu.  It happens when two of more versions of yourself converge in the same space at the same time.

Most scientific evidence points to a commonality in occurrences; that is people tend to have deja vu the most when they are young.  Could this be because the total realm of probabilities grows with time?

Max Tegmark writes, "Eternal Inflation predicts that our Universe ( the spherical region of space from which light has had the time to reach us during the 14 billion years since our big bang) is just one of infinitely many universes in a Level I multiverse where everything that can happen does happen somewhere."

Natura naturans vs. Natura naturata

The Analytic Grid

How will increased adoption of  renewable energy shape the future of our electric grid?  This topic, among others, is of major relevance to the modernization of the Public's electrical infrastructure.  In the near future I believe we will rely on mode of operation enabled by a open source protocol communications network that achieves a ultra high speed automatic transfer switching schema for managing critical loads.  Technologically enabled by the explosion of data stemming from increased usage of Intelligent Electronic Devices (IED)

The first mountain we must climb is that of standardization. There are three major institutions that decide on standards here in the US, they are as follows:

  • National Institute of  Standards and Technology (NIST) – Organizing Smart Grid standards
  • International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) – Most widely adopted set of standards
  • Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)– Smart Grid (mostly sensing, measurements)

VID 2016-09-09 , 18:44:00

I have some good memories of time spent in this place.  I'm not sure when it was built, I guess around 1950.  It was originally used as an incubation room on a poultry farm.  From about 1999 to 2005 it was used as a Ghillie shack, a place where we could sit down tie a couple of flies and contemplate our next couple of hours of fly fishing ahead of us.

Since 2005 I have slowly been turning this space into more of a workshop. Last major improvements done involved  upgrading the electricity and heat in the building.  Eventually I would like to build a house on this spot that cantilevers over a rock outcropping overlooking Smith Creek.

Anti-Invisibility

Lately I have been thinking quite a bit about what it means to be noticed by other people.  For about 6 months now I have been riding my bike into work.  It's great exercise and gives me time to think about stuff.

During my commute, as a safety precaution, I try move with traffic whilst drawing as much attention to myself as I can.   I'm not typically one to crave attention but when I am riding my bike I have to have it.  I have convinced myself other's attention is essential to my survival.  The specifics of this technique vary, but, often it's nothing more than exuding a sustained elevated level of brashness and confidence.  Riding a bicycle in urban areas with heavy traffic congestion is  honestly very satisfying.  It's the satisfaction of knowing I am totally free to move as I please that gives me that confidence.

Why do we act differently under observation? Dr. Quantum explains; or not.

In essence I would have to say Anti-Invisibility is all about overpowering any observer's attempt to collapse your wave function by means of raw physicality and rapid successive decision making.

Web Log Entry 1

Hi, everyone! Welcome to my blog. This is an experiment to see if it is helpful for people get updates to projects that I'm working on and as a documentation tool for things that I'm doing.
