For whatever reason I started a quite a few posts this year and never finished them.  So here they are in a plain way:

  2. 18 November- Knot Theory
  3. 24 October- Kirkman
  4. 10 September-PROXY GENERATION PPAs
  5. 28 August- How To Tell

It's always going to be hard to tell
    what's going on?
    when's it happening?
    who's going where?
    why?

I think it is supposed to be that way.

  6. 30 July-The Maximum Altitude Humans have ever acheived

what is the highest up we have ever been in space?

According to the Wikipedia article on STS-82 the highest we have ever been is 335-nautical-mile (620 km).  STS-82 was the 22nd flight of the Space Shuttle Discovery and the 82nd mission of the Space Shuttle program. It was NASA's second mission to service the Hubble Space Telescope, during which Discovery's crew repaired and upgraded the telescope's scientific instruments, increasing its research capabilities and achieved the highest altitude ever attained by a STS Orbiter.  Discovery launched from Kennedy Space Center, Florida, on 11 February 1997, returning to Earth on 21 February 1997 at Kennedy Space Center.
